I strive to create an authentic, welcoming atmosphere for individuals and couples to explore their lives in a new way. I mostly work with women and men in their 20′s & 30′s, gay, lesbian, & bisexual individuals & couples. I also see transgender and gender questioning clients. I have experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship and communication issues, and self-compassion. I find it useful to collaborate with clients in order to formulate my approach to best fit their needs. I often draw from a family systems orientation by looking at past experiences, family dynamics, and patterns as a way to better understand present ways of being and decisions moving forward.

I studied Psychology in college because of my fascination with the human experience, but it was not until the perspective & growth through my own therapy, that I decided to pursue psychotherapy as a career. I earned my M.A in Counseling from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX and my B.A in Psychology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA.  While acquiring my internship hours, I worked under the supervision of Sabrina Kindell, LPC-S, LMFT-A from 2010-2015.

When I’m not meeting with clients, I mostly enjoy time with my family, trying new Austin restaurants & revisiting old favorites, relaxing with a good book, or getting lost in a film or television series.
